Great Falls National Park

Park Info

Great Falls National Park is a jewel that sits just outside the beltway of our nations capital.  Spanning both Virginia and Maryland, the majority of the quality climbing is on the Virginia shore of the Mather Gorge.  Only feet from the waters of Potomac River many climbs offer great views and exciting exposure.  With short approaches, the climbing at Great Falls is very accessible and has enough variety to keep one entertained for years of challenging climbing.
